community guidelines
the plot_413 covers going out in the Pioneer Valley and Berkshire County. every event on here has been read and considered by a real person. here's what that means in practice.
how it works
we keep an eye on what's happening across the 413 and add things that fit. we also read every submission that comes through. with a lot happening at any given time, we do make calls about what goes up and what doesn't.
what's in
live music. drag shows. comedy. open mics. art openings and gallery showings. dance nights. queer events. festivals. zine swaps. theater. film screenings. makers markets and pop-ups. if that's the vibe, we're about it.
what's not in
protests and rallies. political organizing. electoral stuff. if the event is primarily political rather than cultural, the plot_413 isn't the right place for it. it ain't a comment on the cause — just not our lane.
community submissions
we cover a lot of ground but we can't be everywhere. that's what the submit page is for. cos we do want to know about your shindig.
if you're going to take the time to share something with us, here's how it works:
- + it's always free to submit
- + we read everything that comes in
- + it normally takes about 24 hours for us to review and publish
- + if you included your email, we'll reach out if we have questions
- + we curate — not everything submitted will appear on the site
