Becket is a small hill town with one very significant thing in it: Jacob's Pillow.

Jacob's Pillow is America's longest-running international dance festival — nine weeks every summer on a 225-acre campus in the Berkshire hills. Two indoor theaters, residency programs, world-class companies from the US and internationally. It's also a National Historic Landmark, which is a rare thing for a dance festival.

The Henry J. Leir Stage runs the **Inside/Out series** — free outdoor performances on the festival grounds, open to the public, no ticket required. That's the entry point. The Pillow also has explicit Pride programming: Pillow Pride Dance Party is part of the annual calendar.
