The Pioneer Valley has always had a scene. Shows at the Iron Horse on a Tuesday. Drag nights you heard about two days after they happened. A gallery opening in Florence you would have loved. An open mic that turned into something else entirely. It's always been happening — just spread across five venue websites, three Instagram accounts, a Facebook event someone forgot to make public, and a Substack you didn't know existed.

I thought it was time for something better.

Every event gets reviewed before it goes up — by me. This isn't a scraper and it's not a bot. If there's an iPhone photo of a flier on here, I probably took it. Sorry if it's a little cattiwhompus.

The focus right now is the Pioneer Valley — Northampton to Greenfield, Easthampton to Holyoke. But the 413 is bigger than the valley. Stuff happening in the Berkshires, Great Barrington to North Adams, is welcome here too. Western Mass is western Mass.
